 I think Lamb has the best pink shades for hair.  I indulged in the color pack with all the pastels in it.  These are from the hair fair.  Just love them, beautiful!

 This sweater I picked up from Toki Doki is so gorgeous I kinda want to go back and get more, since it was a summer night sweater I thought I'd wear the bathings suit I got at Collabor88 this month from Boom and go to the beach.

I had a lot of fun posing on all the chairs and hammocks and whatnot.  I got the info from Gogo's blog she advertised the beach there, she has the good connections man!

Post #44 Swanky Shorts

I felt like making some crazy daring outfit to go with my new mesh shorts.  Because really I couldn't find anything that really went with them.  Being leather, I knew I had to look pretty glam and stuff, which is not a look I really wear.  I don't know if this is glammy or not.  LoL.  But I had fun smooshing clothes old and new together.

 I bought this gold bikini/glove/leggings set at The Sea Hole a while ago when they had a half off sale.  I actually thought it went pretty good with the shorts.  I like the two colors together.  Like earthy with some water thrown in.  The skin was really nice, you can get it at Collabor88 in three different makeups.  Glam Affair = glam look...amirite?

Great rings at The Dressing Room Blue.  Had a lot of fun changing the colors on them.  Good waste of 10  minutes.  The necklace I'm excited about as I lurve Kosh to death.

Post # 36 Finding Orange Street

What an adventure.  What a time it took me to find this top.  I had been to Culture Shock about four or five times already and picked up some cute things, this hair from Exile for one, and I thought I was done with it.  Well, except for this top.  I saw it at on my journey to find G.Field, and being the mesh snob I have become I crinkled my nose up at it and went on my way. 

Of course The new TDR Blue opened around 2am (or I received the notice at that time) and I got there immediately.  Lately I haven't really been finding a lot of things I liked but these shoes caught my eye.  They were just so... I dunno... COLORFUL.  So I bought them.  They came with nice tights.  I put them on.  This is the part when I realize I probably had nothing to really go with them.  So my journey began.

I knew they definitely matched the new group gift skin I picked up from Hush tonight (After spending two hours reading about how Curio was accused of using Hush's skins and I know I'm probably totally tacky to be wearing the free gift from the most likely new arch enemy of Curio fans everywhere, but I had to go get some demos to 'compare' and the group gift had some good makeup, so I grabbed it).   I really hope this is just all a misunderstanding and both stores can regain their reputations and the whole mess can get settled.  But in the meantime I needed this skin.  Broke down and bought the Celoe pants I wanted but couldn't decide which color (as you notice they match my heels so that problem is over).  Then.... I was like all in my head trying to think, where did I see that pink top?  Yes, it was in the Culture Shock area, but where?  Which store?... After a while I remembered it was Zenith.  Now I gotta find Zenith.  I look up on the net and see it's located on "orange street" ... where the hell is orange street?

The last street I walk down of course.

Post #29 The Bird is the Word

Checked out the new faMESHed event and there were some pretty nice things there.  Of course I made a beeline to the Celoe/Mon Tissu & Wasabi Pill booths.  I bought the pants first and thought, okay I have so many of these MonTissu shirts already I must have something else to go with them, but nothing looked as good as the shirt that came with the pants.  I headed out to a nice place where I might have a picnic because those pants just made me think of a sunny day filled with barbequed chicken.

I met that little bird on the fence.  She didn't move or anything so I decided she would become my friend, or perhaps teach me to fly.  I was thinking maybe she would think I was a bird too since we were both wearing orange... hehe.  Did I mention those pants are awesome!  I love the way they fit.

She just stared at me and i stared off into space, growing impatient.

Finally I started flapping my arms hoping she'd talk to me, she didn't.  She was a plastic bird.  I was depressed for the rest of the day and pigged out on what was left of my burned chicken.

After buying this lovely dress at Cold Logic I knew I wanted to find a place where the background would meld with the colors of the gown.  I'm a big brown/orange/moss green fan, and I just fell in love with the dress and the scenery of the sim Africa.

I found some great boots at G.Field and a lovely necklace at the Dressing Room to complete the look.  I love the way the drums and other thingie to the right work out with the dress.  I am still wondering why my face always looks deformed when I try different windlight settings with shadows.  Hmmm...

Post #18 Collabor88 & Paris

April's Collabor88 is here and I teleported my excited little avatar into the darkness that is the store entrance.  Man it was packed!  I got all rubberbandy with my walking and kept mowing people down and walking forward, backward, all over.  Finally I said 'ugh no way' and logged out.  Came back later, about 4am to be exact and it was a lot more manageable.

Fell in love with this super cute Kyoot top even though it wasn't mesh.  I've become a mesh snob sorta.  But.. I'd rather have a primmy top that looked good than a generic mesh template (i wanted to type platelet !?).  The pants are really nice in detail and I might go back and get more colors although I really shouldn't as I already have six thousand different types of capris in my inventory.  Yes I enjoy exaggerating numbers.

The Sea Hole has some fabulous jewelery and a great dress design this month (mesh too!).  I have to pick up all the colors of the jewelery.  It comes with a cigarette & holder.  Very "classy broad" look.  LoL.   The skin is Illusory and I quite like this brand.  They do remind me a bit of Atomic, (how they make my face look, rather bitchy but not too much).  I wore the toothy smile skin for this.

Since the theme was french this round I had to find somewhere french to take pix.  So I typed in 'paris' and ended up at this place, it's pretty nice.  They have an eiffel tower and lots of fake 1912 looking people standing around.  I didn't want to be obvious standing next to the tower so I chose a simple street to stand around and act like an attention ho.  I'm not qute sure if my outfit is more french or more sailor.  I'll settle with french sailorette.

Post #16 Funky Cool Eyeballs

Checked out The Dressing Room Blue today and picked up a few goodies.  Of course I grabbed the new Atomic skin (although I do realize it's just the same skin with different makeup pretty much every cycle, and now that we have tattoo layers I'm wasting my money).  I really have no excuse except to say that there is something enchanting and magical about hoarding skins.  That's my story, I'm sticking to it.

The sweater/dress/pajamas or whatever from House of Fox were really cute, picked those up too.  But for the life of me, I cannot ever get myself to fit into their stuff without doing major modifications (last 3 out of 4 things I bought didn't fit right).  Not sure what their measurements are but if i do it 'ready to wear' and use the alpha, i have about five inches of hip sticking out either end of the bottom of the top, and if I don't wear the alpha my bare butt sticks out, so I have to resize it lotttts.  I hope, reallly hope that H.O.F. starts meshing soon, beacause I do love their designs and quality.  I'm thinking of junking all my prim tops (god i'm gonna miss you emery clothes) and just wear mesh, since i am pretty comfortable with Firebird now (i mean Firestorm, why oh why can i never remember the damn name! 

Saved the best for last.  These GORGEE-OSIS eyes from Glow!  I have a green pair.  I always use the prims although I think there probably isn't a real need for them anymore since your eyes don't turn orange with shadows anymore, but I do like that they stick out enough that my lower eyelid doesn't have a space between it and my eyeball.  So they still serve a purpose, and well, two more prims mean a lot to me since I'm a prim whore.

But back to the eyes.  I am so impressed they are giving us six colors (regular eyes, the 2 sets of prim eyes in different sizes) for only 50L.  I snatched them up right away and though i'd share them.  I did get a duopack a long time ago that gave me my 'perfect green' eye that I am always wearing in my blog pics, I don't really take them off.

I did buy this new !lamb mesh hair today in the brown set, really excited they went mesh, gonna be so awesome to slowly quickly spend more money on hair haha.  Better than shoes really!  The only thing that bugs me a bit about mesh hair is the halo around the hair that reminds me of invisaprims from shoes.
