Post #81 Winter is Coming...

Well I live in Canada and it's way past this lovely fall look outside.  It's downright winter!  Autumn went very fast this year and since I was busy while it was going by I thought I'd recreate it in my Second Life.

Collabor88 has some great stuff this round.  I really bought a lot of things and can't wait to show everything off - and not in the last week like usual, lol. This post features a lovely tunic (which I picked up in a few colors) and a gorgeous skin from Glam Affair.

Post #77 Pigtails at the Arcade

In love with the Love skin from Auxiliary.  In love with these adorable pigtails from Boon.  I went on a 'hair madness shopping spree' yesterday and today and hit up stores I haven't been to in a while.  I love Boon's 'add on' hairs that go with a really well done hairbase layer.  This way I can wear hats, scarves, weird flowers and berets with them and not worry bout my hair poking through.  

I picked up this cute dress and sweater set at Collabor88, from UFO.  I have bought a few things from UFO before and ended up deleting them because they never fit me right at all.  Almost like I have to sport a straight up and down board shape.  Anyway, I was glad that this dress and sweater fit because it was UBER cute!

I checked out the Arcade Gatcha dealio and I'm not obsessive about getting the colors I want.  And I only bought three or four things, one of them was this purse... and dammit if I didn't get the cute color I wanted right off the bat.  I love this pink purse.  The cute ring from Cheeky Pea was awesome too.  Nice inexpensive prices and a little chance equals a lot of fun.  Gatcha fairs are brilliant and I always get so lucky.

I'm sure I'm the last person to get to that darn event haha!

Well, Elikatira aka [e] hair is having a major sale.  I picked up color packs for 75L and caught up on some styles I've missed.  This was one of them.  Gorgeous style with a lovely flower to wear on the side of your head... bringing out your inner natural beauty for sure.   The Kosh necklace will harness the energy and ... man I'm too tired to be making up crystal fan fiction..

This flowy and nicely patterned mesh dress is on the lucky boards at a cute little store called Chocolat.  It fit quite well and prompted me to immediately buy the new Beth Wedge Bootie release from G.Field.  I'm talking about putting on the dress, getting an announcement about the shoes two minutes later and buying them in record time.  Loved how they went together.  Oh, and the shoes have a hud to change lace colors etc.

Al Vulo! has a new group skin out for September, if you haven't gotten it yet you have 10 more days.  I really liked it except for the lips.  They were very ... plumpy.  I covered them with some lipstick and the skin all of a sudden got 10x nicer, lol.

These Ingenue Shorts from Collabor88 this month are to swoon over.  They fit so nice and I just love the ribbon on them.  They went great with the Auxiliary jewelry I picked up at faMESHed!

 I think Lamb has the best pink shades for hair.  I indulged in the color pack with all the pastels in it.  These are from the hair fair.  Just love them, beautiful!

 This sweater I picked up from Toki Doki is so gorgeous I kinda want to go back and get more, since it was a summer night sweater I thought I'd wear the bathings suit I got at Collabor88 this month from Boom and go to the beach.

I had a lot of fun posing on all the chairs and hammocks and whatnot.  I got the info from Gogo's blog she advertised the beach there, she has the good connections man!

The first skin I ever bought was from LAQ, back in 2009.  I wore that skin for a loooong time and have so many old photos of me in it.  It really became "me", that is till I got a free gift from Dutch Touch and that became the new me and I spent thousands being a Dutch addict.  It took me to 2011 to NOT wear the only two brands I ever bought and branch out.  Now I love so many skins it's insane...and expensive.  Anyways, I went and picked up a new LAQ skin and I love it.  And cheaaaaap!  Wow.  I was impressed.  I wore it with these items I wanted to cover, three of which are from Collabor88 which is changing in a few days so I thought I better throw these in here before they were gone.

 First I want to talk about this jacket I picked up from FaMESHed, by Leverocci.  They had or still do have a sale going on and I got a few shirts from them and was kinda disappointed in the alpha layers that showed air, i guess, under the seams.  This jacket didn't fail to disappoint on the air issue (or maybe I should say yeah it did disappoint) and when I stand certain ways this big glob on the inside shows nothing.  I don't know how to fix alphas so I guess I'm stuck with the blankness of it all.  :*(

The dress and hair I got from Collabor88.  I was expecting a full mesh dress (I really need to learn to demo stuff) and It was just a mesh middle, like the old prim types.  I don't own a lot of strapless plain dresses so it will do for now.  The hair is all right.  I wasn't pleased with any one particular color.  It will do too.  I probably won't wear this outfit too often.

 The jewelery I picked up at Dark Mouse for 10L a piece which is a pretty good deal.  They have a red tent out back and are selling older stuff.  I liked the bracelets a lot.  The necklace sort of felt like it never rezzed all the way, and the hair thing was really pretty.  Still, a great deal for the price.

This is my old 2009 Blondie skin.  It makes me look uber happy and my lips are set on 'bitchy'.  So that's some happy skin.  It's so orangey compared to my newer skins and it looks really good here, but you can really tell it's older.  Probably was ahead of it's time though when it came out.  I paid less for the new skin with like four or five makeups than one of the old skins.  I believe they were 1200 a piece back in the day.

The skirt is from Vive9 (same as the blue dress) and it too has just the mesh middle in it.  I'm two days too late for the July 4th red white and blue thing but I'm not American so I guess it's not important.  Hope everyone in the USA had a good holiday!

 I do love these pants.  I've been meaning to blog them for a while but with all the new releases and my other ADHD projects I just never really got around to it.  Maitreya has seven sets of these, but I just bought the super colorful ones.  They come in plain leggings and with these wicked weird built in shoes.  When I wear them I feel like using my freaky poses!

Maitreya is such good quality.  My favorite mesh stores would have to be Maitreya, Celoe, Mon Tissu & Cold Logic.  Cold Logic kinda being more of the standard wear of the bunch.  Kind of stuff you could pick up going into a major department store.  The others are a bit more like smaller cooler stores.  I love the fine detail in them.  Yes the do cost a lot more than most mesh but you get what you pay for.  When I put on my darn cyber pants I want to see seams and wrinkles!

I was going to blog this outfit with a pair of Aleida pants I bought a long time ago.  I zoomed on over there to see if they still had them and noticed the had a big closing out sale going on, and my old pants where gone.  So I thought what the heck, and bought me a few pairs of mesh dress pants for super cheap!

Hey they matched my hair!  I got pink shoes (also at the close out sale) and teleported to Tram.  I love their build it's absolutely gorgeous and I like to take pictures there.

I do like this tube top/jacket set from Cold Logic, but I don't wear it so often.  I bought the fatpack, but I kinda regret it now, as I think the other fatpack set colors are nicer.  And it's kind of over dressy for me.  I think in the future I can see myself wearing the jacket with different tops and the tubetop by itself or with a different jacket.  Just to mix it up.  The skin I got at Collabor88  is awesome of course, and the pink eyeshadow matched the outfit really well.

I felt like making some crazy daring outfit to go with my new mesh shorts.  Because really I couldn't find anything that really went with them.  Being leather, I knew I had to look pretty glam and stuff, which is not a look I really wear.  I don't know if this is glammy or not.  LoL.  But I had fun smooshing clothes old and new together.

 I bought this gold bikini/glove/leggings set at The Sea Hole a while ago when they had a half off sale.  I actually thought it went pretty good with the shorts.  I like the two colors together.  Like earthy with some water thrown in.  The skin was really nice, you can get it at Collabor88 in three different makeups.  Glam Affair = glam look...amirite?

Great rings at The Dressing Room Blue.  Had a lot of fun changing the colors on them.  Good waste of 10  minutes.  The necklace I'm excited about as I lurve Kosh to death.

I found this absolutely lovely mesh skirt at Collabor88.  I really sent some linden love to the designers this month.  And I'm not even half done buying what I want.  I'm so thankful for great quality events such as this.  The prices are so low and the items blow me away.  And I love the themes.  Have you ever checked out the theme boards for the events they choose?  They are so pretty!  Collabor88 Main Website

I recieved this free skin from Mojo, and at first I didn't really like it.  I usually wear super light hair and the dark tan & eyebrows look strange.  So I threw on a darker shade of hair and it was a great improvement!  Now I will make use of the darker shades in blonde that I get in fatpacks and ignore.  I kinda felt a bit 'sexah' in this skin so put on a sweet black top from Ronsem to look the part... of a tart!  haha.

The skirt from The Seahole (of course) mellowed out the tarty look.  I ran to G. Field and got their new boots in black (if you like these boots I suggest you buy the fatpack, so you don't end up like me just going to the store everytime you need a new color and end up spending 2x the price by buying them one at a time, because trust me these boots are major versatile!  You need these boots!).

I took pictures today in my house.  I thought the skirt matched my decor! Hehehe.

Love these new jean shorts/leggings from Fashionably Dead that I picked up at Collabor88 today.  I also picked up the boots there too, courtesy of the Sea Hole.  I mean to get boots for 88L is pretty good and I love both stores so it's such a treat. 

I forgot I bought these awesome mesh dreadlocks at Boon a couple of months ago.  I love the beads and little braids.  They matched the beaded necklaces I wore.  I got the long necklace at a TDR a few cycles ago, I went to Glow to see if they had them there, but they weren't up.  Hopefully they will add it, with more colors in the future.

I went to xxYOUME SOUJOUxx to get the landmark for the gatcha bag I had on.  That place is a serious trip!  I wish I could decorate my house the way this store is decorated.  It's so colorful and freaky.  Totally felt like I was mind altered.  A feast for my eyeballs and brain!
