I kinda look like a busted up dancer.  Was visiting Tableau, one of my fave places for pix, and i stumbled into a tent with a stage and the words "entertain" in white over the floor.  I couldn't find the spot or ball to click to literally entertain myself, so I just stood around all stage frightey.

I like the store Crazy.  I bought these boots there for 200L, now they aren't mesh but when it comes to shoes, that never really bothers me.  Hair makes a big diff, so do tops and everything else really.  Shoes, nails, jewellery.. I can't tell if it's mesh or prim.  Love the boots though.  Finally found something to go with my black leather Leverocci shorts.

I laughed so hard when I drew this big ass gun.  I don't even remember what it was.  All I knew was I had to find guns to go with this DECO Fifty Linden Friday offering.   There was just no other way to present this.  Really cute dress and awesome boots.  I had an old pair of primmy DECO boots from a past FLF from maybe 2010.  Really nice to get some updated combat type boots. Reaaaal nice... //eyes darting around...

I got the Skinnery skin from the Vintage Fair.  I paid 900L.  That's pretty rare for me but I couldn't resist it. The ironic thing is that the skin is called "Woodstock" probably meaning 'hey this chick is a peace loving hippie activist type who takes part in flash mob love fests'.  So of course I got her in fatigues...

Cute little gold slut set from One Bad Pixel.  It's supposed to be leather but looks like quilted naugahyde.  My dad had a basement bar like that when i was a kid.  It was black with big red buttons.  Classic.  He was an airline chef (okay that's kind of an oxymoron), and he had aquired (meaning stole) all these airplane sized booze bottles.  My brothers and I drank all the vodka and replaced it with water.  Good times!

 I think Lamb has the best pink shades for hair.  I indulged in the color pack with all the pastels in it.  These are from the hair fair.  Just love them, beautiful!

 This sweater I picked up from Toki Doki is so gorgeous I kinda want to go back and get more, since it was a summer night sweater I thought I'd wear the bathings suit I got at Collabor88 this month from Boom and go to the beach.

I had a lot of fun posing on all the chairs and hammocks and whatnot.  I got the info from Gogo's blog she advertised the beach there, she has the good connections man!

Been on a bit of a vacation, back now and time to show off some goodies from the Hair Fair.  Boy, I've been going to these for a while now.  This year's setup was fantastic.  Great theme, less lag, and with the exception of some really bad hair, lots of nice meshy hair for your enjoyment.  Can't wait to blog all the ones I got!

Ohhh lookit me, finally got a shot where I'm looking into the camera and not into the far off distance like some jaded barbie doll.  I love this LAQ skin and have been wearing it a lot, added some freckles and eyeshadow to it this time.  Blows my mind that skin makers still make skins with different makeup, with tattoo layers now available.  But, you know, it's nice to not have to search my inventory for long forgotten lipsticks I bought and lost somewhere amongst my folders.

Been waiting to find the perfect top for these awesome Boom pants.  Got them a while ago, like right when FaMESHed started, but most of the stuff I bought went too low and didn't fit properly with them... well look no further...

This most AWESOME cute l'il top I found at Ronsem totally blew my mind to peices (and I'm tired so that's probably a bit of an exaggeration).  It's so cute!  Love the frilly front, fit and everything.  The mesh fit so well I had no spots show up invisible from the alpha.  That's good top making!

Oh wow don't we look professional.  Hair all up, business type bag, sensible shoes.  It's not like me to dress so fancy, I feel like I should be giving some sort of SL presentation.  On what I don't know.  Maybe how to be an armchair detective, or a spider solitaire expert (why am I addicted to this silly game after years of ignoring it on my computer?), or perhaps how to google your weird health symptoms to end up with some horrible disease.  Damn you WebMD!!!

Or maybe how to remember to do up your skirt zipper.  I have to admit the first time I saw this skirt I was like "oh no way I can go there with that".  It stuck in my mind though and I just had to end up buying it.  I was with a friend at the time and she had to get one too.  Of course a coy little thing such as myself had to make it look all fancy so the slutty part was a suprise.  Business in the front, potential hooker in the back.

I do love the clove cigarette in a holder getup from The Sea Hole.  I also love that past Collabor88 things are in her store for you to get, at the same price after the cycle ends.  That was a bad sentence! This was from the Parisian set.  I also love the Ghost hair from !lamb.  I think it was the first hair of their's that i owned.  The shoes are cool too because you buy them kinda blank and can change the color, add texures, get rid of the strappy part and do all kinds of things to it, all for the low price of 95L.  Maybe I'll pass myself off as a professional shoe color artist!

Lots of sales, hunts & free gifts.  Starting with the new Al Vulo skin this month.  Very lovely.  I have to admit I'm wearing different lips with it, but it is stunning nonetheless.  There are little dots all over the skin which might look like 'demo' writing from far away, but still worth it!  It looks great with this new hair from !lamb.  The top is a free gift from Ingenue for the Mesh Around Hunt.  I was glad to find it as I spent a good hour trying to find a top to go with my bottoms.

These new pants from Glam Affair at FaMESHed are really nice, you get a great deal basically getting three different colors for the price of one (I know because I went to Glam Affair to check the original price).  They look too real.  Makes me think of the old days, way before prim cuffs how pants used to fly in the wind at the bottom and the inside was the color of your skin.  You could always deflect that by wearing uber blingy shoes.  My how things have changed.

Zaara is having their annual 50% off sale.  I know I hit it up last year because I rebought the bracelets again!  Oh well they were a decent price hehe.

Post #26 Shopping Spree! (and a freebie)

Oh boy did I ever blow my weekly budget today!  New dress, new shoes, new hair, too many poses, and a free skin!  It was kind of an accident as I was looking for a new skin and since I try not to buy the 6 zillion low priced template stuff on the grid, I started going to the more expensive shops.  First place I hit up was Al Vulo.  Jeez!  The April gift was so pretty!

Since it was quite tan and tan skins kind of turn me off, reminding me of glamazons dancing in 80's themed clubs, I thought I should soften it a bit and try to dress as bloody innocent I could.  Fashionably Dead sent out info on a new dress they had just released so I thought I would check it out.  I like their original styles very much.  The dress is mesh, and fit me so well.  It also has added flowers to it that make it special.  I bought it no questions asked haha.

This dress is the BEST!

I found the perfect shoes to match in the same shop!  How lucky was that!

I got all the great poses at the Pose Fair.  They are made by D.Luxx Poses.

Post #21 Remembering the 90's

I "came of age" in the 90's and totally used to dress like this.  I was just out the other day and saw some girls coming out of a club dressed in really tight jeans and flimsy tops, high heeled boots and just really feminine looks.  Man, I dressed like a boy back in my time.  Everything was all "grunge" and "alternative".  I don't think I've ever used hairspray.  I did use lipgloss...

Wore lots of beaded necklaces, and wore my hair plain and stringy.  Minimal makeup and torn up shirts and jeans.  Guys jeans. 

Torn up tights were a staple, along with Doc Martens.  I wanted to be a bass player, LoL.

I used to hang out at a record shop downtown, where they sold vinyl and bongs.  I had a whole collection of albums and a shitty record player.  I lost all my records when my brother helped me move and forgot to give me back the chest I kept them in.  Last thing I heard his ex-girlfriend's dad had them.. dayum!

I love the new mesh hair that came out a few weeks ago by !lamb.  I remember when I first went into the store a couple of years ago, I was pretty horrified at the fact the hair was STIFF as hell!  I was, at the time, a major Truth junkie, and used to flowy hair.  So I got a bunch of demos and kept them in my inventory for a long time.  Putting them on once and a while and kinda wincing about the stiff hair going into my boobs when I moved.  Then one day something inside me changed.  I don't know if it was the fact that Truth was recycling hairdos by that point or !lamb was giving out some rooted blonde 'dos.  I am a rooted blonde irl, so I thought ah, I'm gonna pick these up.  FELL IN LOVE.  SO I started buying every style they had w/roots.  Got used to the stiff hair pretty fast.  Great for pictures.  And who cares if it goes in your boob when you move, it's not like you can feel it right?  Now mesh hairs from !lamb.  This was like a dream come true.  I mean it, i got verklempt inside.  I hadn't been that happy since the big Maitreya 50% sale of 2010. 

So I bought this crazy colored pack, because I like to live on the wild side sometimes and thought, hmmm, what the hell goes with green hair (the pink and blue I could use but the green...).  I noticed people running around with jeans hanging off them like they had on diapers with rocks in them and said YES.  Love these jeans.  They are mesh and insane.  Had to pose to give them the full chunky chunk experience.

I call this pose "no officer i wasn't robbing that convenience store for lime kool-aid"...
This top was pretty cute.  It kinda lights up in the dark, not sure what's up with that, but it's cute.  And I have a bit of a hippe style, so I bought it, cuz it's 'me'.  They had matching tops in the jeans store but they said stuff on them like "F*ck Off" and "Smile" or something, and I just can't support mood swings that way.
I picked up the uber cute bracelets at Collabor88 from "Earthstones", three of them and stacked them.

I love these jeans lmao.  They are actually really well made and fit well.  but look best when my legs are spread open, not as much upsidedown but you get the gist of the look... haha.

Post #16 Funky Cool Eyeballs

Checked out The Dressing Room Blue today and picked up a few goodies.  Of course I grabbed the new Atomic skin (although I do realize it's just the same skin with different makeup pretty much every cycle, and now that we have tattoo layers I'm wasting my money).  I really have no excuse except to say that there is something enchanting and magical about hoarding skins.  That's my story, I'm sticking to it.

The sweater/dress/pajamas or whatever from House of Fox were really cute, picked those up too.  But for the life of me, I cannot ever get myself to fit into their stuff without doing major modifications (last 3 out of 4 things I bought didn't fit right).  Not sure what their measurements are but if i do it 'ready to wear' and use the alpha, i have about five inches of hip sticking out either end of the bottom of the top, and if I don't wear the alpha my bare butt sticks out, so I have to resize it lotttts.  I hope, reallly hope that H.O.F. starts meshing soon, beacause I do love their designs and quality.  I'm thinking of junking all my prim tops (god i'm gonna miss you emery clothes) and just wear mesh, since i am pretty comfortable with Firebird now (i mean Firestorm, why oh why can i never remember the damn name! 

Saved the best for last.  These GORGEE-OSIS eyes from Glow!  I have a green pair.  I always use the prims although I think there probably isn't a real need for them anymore since your eyes don't turn orange with shadows anymore, but I do like that they stick out enough that my lower eyelid doesn't have a space between it and my eyeball.  So they still serve a purpose, and well, two more prims mean a lot to me since I'm a prim whore.

But back to the eyes.  I am so impressed they are giving us six colors (regular eyes, the 2 sets of prim eyes in different sizes) for only 50L.  I snatched them up right away and though i'd share them.  I did get a duopack a long time ago that gave me my 'perfect green' eye that I am always wearing in my blog pics, I don't really take them off.

I did buy this new !lamb mesh hair today in the brown set, really excited they went mesh, gonna be so awesome to slowly quickly spend more money on hair haha.  Better than shoes really!  The only thing that bugs me a bit about mesh hair is the halo around the hair that reminds me of invisaprims from shoes.

Post #9 Intimates at Home *part one*

One of my prettiest and newest sets of lingerie right now, in my little beach house where I spend all my time chillaxin'.

I live on a beach, a tiny square of land with water all around it, really pretty view of the sunset, and great neighbours who have lovely houses and gardens.  I spend a lot of time alone in my house, basically listening to Groove Salad on Soma FM and making outfits.  It's my fave passtime for relaxing me in real life actually. 

 The colors of my place are filled with washed out shades of white, beige, blue and really feel crisp and clean.  I got this Coastal Loft Skybox (beachhouse for me) at {what next}, they have some really great stuff there.  I am not really into the darker gothicy stuff.  Some places look fantastic with that look, but you have to be very talented to pull it off.  You really have to choose the proper textures.  I'm very partial to the whole sort of 'drawn' look vs. photorealistic textures, and I see a lot of crappy photos of stone and ugly gold trim on a lot of 'castles'.  But that really has nothing to do with this whole subject today does it?  Me going off on bad texture tangents.  Oohhhh... 

 I went back to d.Select to check out if they had more colors of those opaque greenish tights I really like to wear, and have worn in previous posts (I never remember the names of anything I wear).  I found this simple, very cute, sorta see through camisole and panty set.  They were sold seperately.  I kinda of got grouchy paying over 100L for a pair of panties, but I am a sucker for this shade of pink, and they just looked so cool on the display (advertising works!).  Of course that meant that I was allowing myself to run to G.Field and buy a new pair of shoes!

 I was thinking of throwing some props on the ledge or a picture on the wall, but i sort of wanted to keep the picture 'clean'.  One day I'm going to overclutter the hell out of myself, and my surroundings.  I really do admire and appreciate bloggers who can use almost every freaking attachment on their bodies to make outfits.  I have done that and I do have some pretty wild funky outfits premade in my inventory.  I just NEVER know where to go to take pictures with them!  If I use my house as inspiration, you see what I end up with?  Plain two piece lingerie set with no jewelery but beaded bracelets.  I don't wear jewelery in real life and I'm kinda low maintenence.   So I tend to reflect that back into my SL fashion.  I wonder if anyone reads this blog, and if they do actually READ the crap I write lol!  Probably not.  I never really read stuff people write in their blogs either.  Especially useless musings such as this...
