I kinda look like a busted up dancer.  Was visiting Tableau, one of my fave places for pix, and i stumbled into a tent with a stage and the words "entertain" in white over the floor.  I couldn't find the spot or ball to click to literally entertain myself, so I just stood around all stage frightey.

I like the store Crazy.  I bought these boots there for 200L, now they aren't mesh but when it comes to shoes, that never really bothers me.  Hair makes a big diff, so do tops and everything else really.  Shoes, nails, jewellery.. I can't tell if it's mesh or prim.  Love the boots though.  Finally found something to go with my black leather Leverocci shorts.

Have you ever been to Inspire Space Park?  It's a pretty cool place where they play mellow chill music and have lots of spacey things floating around.  You can do tai chi, or space ballet or meditate.  I find it really relaxing to hang out there.  It's always packed with different kinds of people.  I saw a topless goat girl there today when I took these pictures.  LoL.

Love these mesh harem pants I procured from a store I had never heard of but had seen on a freebie blog.  I love finding little things like this.  They are really nice and I would have bought more styles but it looked like you could only buy the fatpack of them for 1500L.  I know people are always 'ewwing' the long hangy pants but I like some of them.  I like these.

Love the new hair by Lelutka.  I like the way it stays close to my head. So many hairs are so glam and puffy.  I do have a long hair like this  (not mesh) from Boon but it's so outdated.  I used to wear it a lot.  I just can't wear the flowy hairs anymore, not the way they get lost in my chest.  I love this hair so much.

I remember when I used to wear Analog Dog hair back in the day.  I glowed like a lightbulb.  I had not gone to that store in ages, till I saw someone wearing their new brand - '.b', or Point B as I like to call it.  It's got the curls I so loved with AD, but without the full bright, the overly flowy flying hair strands, and they kinda look sometimes (to me) a bit like dreadlocks.  When I go curly I wear my Mynerva skin.  It's so cute.

Really nice "poly" mesh jackets at Ducknipple.  I picked up a fatpack with 6 colors for 249L.  If you buy the jackets individually they are 99L, so, that's kind of obvious what you are gonna do there.  LoL.

These are some older jeans and boots I bought a long time ago.  I think I had to get rid of the invisaprims from the boots.  It's really simple if you can modify the shoe/boot.  If the invisprim is built into the boot and you don't feel like unlinking everything and deleting the prims, you can always isolate the invisiprim and resize it to just a tiny little thing then hide it back in the shoe/boot.  Then you just find an alpha from another shoe/boot that matches the height and zing!  You got yourself shoes or boots that don't look weird in certain textures anymore.  I have saved so many pairs of favorite boots and shoes with this trick.

I really love the Ducknipple sim.  Lots of alleyways, and pretty sceneries to take pix!

Never being one to pass up a good photo opportunity, I jumped on this really cute swing at the "Pose Fair".  It was located at most awesomely decorated store, Lost Angel.  They had some really awesome props there.

Last fall I got hooked on Mamboo Chic skins.  They have some free ones at their older store on a lucky board, and if you join their group you can get skins every once and a while.  I paid 300L for it, I think.  This is one of the gifts, Olivie.  It's a 'bit' orangey, but I really do love how it looks.  I call this one mid-age.  I wear Mynerva and I feel really young, I wear Dutch Touch and I feel much older.  This is kind of in the middle.  

I got this top and jeans at Oyakin.  Around the time I got the skin.  I really like the two together.  So sweet and cute.  Went great with the prop.  Just kinda hanging out all flowy and stuff.  The top is doing strange things while I am posing, lol.  But when you are standing around, even in an AO, it is all lined up and not sticking out of your breastbone.  What can I say I don't do much editing in my pix.  So unprofessional, I know.

Post #21 Remembering the 90's

I "came of age" in the 90's and totally used to dress like this.  I was just out the other day and saw some girls coming out of a club dressed in really tight jeans and flimsy tops, high heeled boots and just really feminine looks.  Man, I dressed like a boy back in my time.  Everything was all "grunge" and "alternative".  I don't think I've ever used hairspray.  I did use lipgloss...

Wore lots of beaded necklaces, and wore my hair plain and stringy.  Minimal makeup and torn up shirts and jeans.  Guys jeans. 

Torn up tights were a staple, along with Doc Martens.  I wanted to be a bass player, LoL.

I used to hang out at a record shop downtown, where they sold vinyl and bongs.  I had a whole collection of albums and a shitty record player.  I lost all my records when my brother helped me move and forgot to give me back the chest I kept them in.  Last thing I heard his ex-girlfriend's dad had them.. dayum!

Post #17 Trico Fail Mission

Last evening I put on a premade outfit I made a couple of summers ago.  I remember buying this hair from a place called Trico with many :::::'s in the name.  I wanted to see if they had any mesh hair or new styles, but I could not find it anywhere.  I did find the group though, and there was one member left, so I checked out their profile and they had a link to a place called ::::slow loris::::.  the amount of :::'s convinced me it was the same person who had previously owned Trico. Although the original hair wasn't there, there was a few new styles that I liked, and ended up buying all of them. 

Last week I tried on a demo for hair and fell in love with the brown color.  I have so much blonde hair, I find some of the styles start overlapping from different stores so I think I'm going to buy darker colors for a while.  This is a style I picked up at slow loris, looked great in brown.  This skin has really never looked good in blonde to tell you the truth, and I haven't worn it much, so it was nice to bring it out again and appreciate it.

I remember when I had super muscular thighs and less wide hips, these boyfriend jeans from Maitreya looked super horrible on me.  Since I thinned out my legs a bit and widened my hips the pants fit me better... in the front anyway... I mean they are boyfriend jeans, so they are supposed to be baggy right?

Still kinda looked like I have a diaper on, among other things, but they are still pretty cool pants.  Love them with the vest and the new hair!

Post #12 Cold Logic Mesh Goodies~!

Fricking awesome new top at Cold Logic.  I got the notecard today of a new release and I teleported in and the place was packed!  I had just bought these new boots by Ten"10 and I wanted something to go with them!  So I fell just in total love with this cute top and the color matched perfectly.  I even got a compliment from a random stranger telling me they loved the look.  She had on another new release, which I bought too and will get to later.  Anywho, picked up a few things, this is my fave, and it fits perfectly and looks really great.  I'm a size small.  Oh yah, I read on Seraphim that su.vida was closing, I had never heard of it before but everything was 10L so of course... I picked up this dreamcatcher arm tattoo.  They had those template jeans there so I didn't buy any clothes.  Just tats.

 Of course when I enable my maximum graphic options on Starburst or whatever it's called (oh Firestorm I mean)... Shit gets 'real' and I can't move or click stuff without serious lag.  So what I have been doing is setting up my pose, and then clicking on 'enable deathly shadows'.  Of course stuff starts fading in and out and it takes like 20 seconds for the picture to snap, AND I don't seem to have the habit of checking pix I've taken so I end up finishing up my pix, changing into something else, looking at my pictures, realizing my tattoo and undershirt were blurry and the only pix that had them clear my eyes are closed... oy!  Of course it's too late to go back, as I am not standing in the same spot, I forgot what my lighting was at, and I really don't care by this point.
Boots are awesome though!  I asked a girl at Collabor88 where she got them.  I had seen quite a few chicks wearing these boots.  I got the brown ones cuz everyone else had the black or white ones.

The place I took pictures at was a really nice little coffee bar.  I was looking for a totally different place and ended up here by accident.  They had great music and lots of couches and chairs to hang out on.  It was empty but I'm sure they probably have some sort of action going on some time during the week.

Post #10 Wanna Ride the Scooter!

Checked out the big sale at Medley today and picked up some nice lipsticks and face piercings, as well as a pretty cute "braces for my teeth" sculpt.  I'll wear it sometime when I look like a little brat!  While I was outside checking out the other two stores (Burley had a setup and I love that hair store!), I found this awesome blue scooter.

 So I clicked on it and it wouldn't let me on!  I didn't have permission.  The pie menu said 'ride' and everything but nope, the sucker didn't want me on it.  So instead I had to bloody stand next to it and pretend it was mine.  I should really just go find one somewhere and take it with me where ever I go and pose on it.  Kind of like those gnome around the world commercials by travelocity.  Me on a scooter in Paris, in India, on a snow capped mountain.  UNDERWATER IN A MERMAID SUIT!!!

So this outfit I was wearing I made the other day.  I had a different skin but the eyebrows looked freaky, so I threw on my old standby "Little Becky" by Mynerva.  It was a free gift, and seriously, the boobs are kid boobs, and I don't often run around nude, but it's the most sweetest skin ever!  I feel so innocent in it lol.

Love the boots too.  I went to the store "Crazy" one day and I remember buying some black top from there a couple of years ago.  I loved the stuff in there and picked up like 4 or 5 tops, a couple of pairs of pants, and many pairs of shoes.  They have pretty original and cute shoes and boots.  Looked really great with my Miel jewellery, I love that place too!

Post #6 Sunny with Shadows

I decided I wanted to try shadows.  The last time I tried shadows my eyes looked like that of satan,  orange glowing orbs.  I was sad.  But that was a long time ago though and I decided to try it again on my Phoenix, but lo and behold, jaggedy edges got to me.   So I FINALLY broke down and installed Firestorm!  I had read they had a new skin that resembled Viewer 1.  I am kind of a sucky baby and do like Viewer 1 stuff.  I haven't really ever gotten into using keys for shortcuts so I tend to just the arrow keys to move around like a total noob.  I don't like having to search and relearn and have to press more buttons to find things when it's all at my hand right now.  If I just used shortcuts this would have been an easier transition.

Anyways!  I hopped on, adjusted some settings and this is what I got.  I was wearing a nice sunshiney outfit and thought I would whip out some butterflies to make it look like I was quite serene and a little reflective.  Love the shadows by the way!  My face seems a little blurry, even though I baked the hell out of myself several times.

My face did look a bit different than normal.  I usually use a modified preset named "Nams Optimal Skin".  It washes everything out but I don't see the nasty lines where the prims meet the worn peices of clothing.  On this one though I needed to play around with the sky so that I could get some nice shadows going.  It was kind of confusing because they have a totally different setup.

My nose also seemed a little dirty, but maybe it was a rogue shadow.  Overall I really like it and I think I will whip out the ol' Firestorm (I couldn't remember what it was called, Firefox? Phoenixstorm?) to take future pictures when I feel 'outdoorsy'

Post #4 Finding Places

I have been teleporting around SL the last few days trying to find places to take pictures.  I have been using the Destination Guide, but I haven't really found anything I liked.  Mostly the textures at the places I end up at look just bad.  Not smooth, fake wood and gold etc.  It's pretty hard to find stuff.  I am starting to realize the most beautiful sims are ones that have good stores.  I was at The Dressing Room Blue today to pick up an Atomic skin, and I just thought, oh they have this decorated so nice!  There were a few people there and I really didn't want to start whipping out my poses and standing in corners and stuff.  I'm sure no one would even noticed but I would feel so weird, lol.  I did manage to get a shot standing next to the curtains though.  Timing my AO to not have my hand sticking through my head or anything.

I decided, ah frick it, and went to the same studio where I did my Maitreya red dress.  I found some sort of cubicle filled with balls and took pictures in that instead.  They have some pretty interesting poses.  This unit i photographed myself in must have been devoid of gravity because my hair stayed pretty much the same.  Pretty amazing!

Oh, it's just sort of falling down.  This is Truth's new mesh hair "Barbara", it comes with a flexy add on if you want to have that flowy look added to it.  It's pretty nice.  I gave up on Truth a while ago, well I owned most of their stuff and the new things coming out were pretty much looking the same and I was also looking for some funky styles (found a place called Burley for that, great cool haircuts!)

I'm not a zombie, I just have my hands on some balls yanno?

I love this top I picked up at The Dressing Room, by House of Fox.  If I were to look at any blog right now it would most likely be in it's original shape.  Long and more like a dress.  Now I know the designer worked really hard giving it lots of detail because I had to completely move every prim to fix it (I like to walk around in my clothes and don't like it when my hips and ass stick out - these people must think we are sticks, the alpha layer didn't work at all it was way way too skinny).  I made it much shorter than it's advertised at, but you know, it looks good.  I suppose if I was just posing I could wear it the way it was made, but I'm way too jumpy and squirmy.

Loving the new skin!  The Lien line from Atomic.  I had to add some bronze lipstick to it though because everything I have gotten from them has been pretty much red lips.  and LOOK AT THOSE CLAWS! They are even blinged out!

So I guess for now it's taking pictures outside of all my favorite stores or in studios.  I have a pretty nice beach house and a cool skybox too and lots of furniture.  Maybe I'll start setting up scenes if I get uber ambitious.

Post #3 That Awesome Maitreya Dress

Atomic skin is awesome.  It's very sharp and vivid.  I had the demos for a long time and couldn't bring myself to buy one because they are quite expensive.  I suppose if I hadn't spent 8 million dollars at Dutch Touch in the last couple of years I'd be more apt to blow a bundle on really good skins.  But I never seem to wear my DT anymore, so I have become very weary about buying fatpacks worth thousands.  Of course Atomic started showing up at the Dressing Room events and I went squeee!!! and now buy every one that shows up.  SO happpy!

Love the mesh dress from Maitreya.  It makes CUUUURVES on my body, pretty close to my own.  Love...love...LOVE the way the 'fabric' wrinkles (although in real life that would probably be annoying), but on SL it just looks a zillion times more realistic than the fricking flexi prim skirts I still see people wearing all over the place.  A lot of times I go into a club and the first thing I see is grey flexis that haven't rezzed yet.  Stupid SL went and dumped my cache the other day, so now everywhere I go, it takes forever to load.  I gotta quit trying to make shadows happen.  No.  It's just not gonna happen for me.  They look all jaggedy and weird.  Where was I going with this????

Love the mesh hair from Wasabi Pills.  I haven't found another good mesh hair store yet.  I love this one because it is so cute!  And cute is what I aim for.  All the way baby.  Call this picture Le Suprisito.

 Even though I'm a girl, I can't stop staring at my ass in this dress.  It's just so SHAPELY!

I don't use Viewer 2, I used the mesh version of Phoenix, so unfortunately I cannot wear two alpha layers at once.  So I gotta wear some old style boots from J's (which actually look pretty good) with the dress.  In certain texture background I can see the fricking bulky hidey invisiprim layers that have driven me crazy since the beginning of my life on SL.

Post #2 Visiting Drowsy

I went to the Drowsy sim to look for a store (BP*) and all I really found was some sort of boat.  Didn't find what I was looking for but did find a cute swing set and pretty scenery to take some cute pictures in!

Still wearing those awesome green d.select green nylons.  I picked up the cutest red shoes at Collabor88 a couple of days ago, and I don't know if those colors really do go together but in my world they do!  I loved sitting on the swing, since I haven't been on one for years.  I didn't actually move of course, but you get the gist of the 'fantasy'. 

I TOTALLY FELL ON MY HEAD AFTER THIS JUMP AND HAD TO BE KEPT UP FOR 12 HOURS!!!  Totally worth the concussion though.  That boat place is behind me.  Took me like five minutes to get back up the stairs in that darn boat, I kept getting knocked back down, lol.  Actually I'm not even SURE it was a boat.  Some people are just to creative to have their inventions labeled I guess.

I left drowsy to find a backpack i again checked out on this really cute girl at a dance club... I love those little snuggly short girls that look all dolly like.  Yeah so this place was called JPK Village, some sort of steampunk place.  Didn't find the thing I was looking for.  But LOTS OF BIRDS!!  Love this purse I got from a gatcha fair.  It's Tee*fy, which is one of my fave stores.  Goes great with the nylons no?

 Love the skirt too, the criss crosses on the side make me feel a bit slutty, something I don't usually do but the nylons underneath totally give me back my good girl cred.  I actually saw some chick wearing this skirt (in a much more sluttier fashion) at a sales event and totally clicked on her to find out where she got it muahaha!  I do that way too often.  But I sure have found a LOT of great stores that way!

I love this picture.  The bird tweeting at me... the green radioactive goo on the ground... makes no sense.  Reminds me of a quote from Hayley off American Dad "Evolution is like Ikea for animals".  I've always wanted to use that quote somewhere. 

I'm so happy my nails aren't all discombobulated from lag...
