Post #5 Cute Little Imp

 When I bought this hair a while ago, from Leluka, I thought it was the cutest thing ever.  I remember being a little girl and having crazy curly stuck my hand in the light socket fro going on....much like this, lol.  So I knew I had to make a bit of a more girlish body shape to go with it.  I had this perfect Fishy Strawberry outfit that reminded me of a dolly dress and it just went perfect with the whole look.

 How could you not resist that smile!  Awww.... I love the shoes too, also from Lelutka.  I bought this fatpack at the shoe fair (2011?), I know they have it in the store now.  The texture on them is amazing!

This girl version of me is cute and sassy and likes to pose inside lit up lotus like structures.  I have to get her a hyper AO too.  I don't want to be a child avie, just a young girl trapped in an adult person's young girl avatar!

Post #4 Finding Places

I have been teleporting around SL the last few days trying to find places to take pictures.  I have been using the Destination Guide, but I haven't really found anything I liked.  Mostly the textures at the places I end up at look just bad.  Not smooth, fake wood and gold etc.  It's pretty hard to find stuff.  I am starting to realize the most beautiful sims are ones that have good stores.  I was at The Dressing Room Blue today to pick up an Atomic skin, and I just thought, oh they have this decorated so nice!  There were a few people there and I really didn't want to start whipping out my poses and standing in corners and stuff.  I'm sure no one would even noticed but I would feel so weird, lol.  I did manage to get a shot standing next to the curtains though.  Timing my AO to not have my hand sticking through my head or anything.

I decided, ah frick it, and went to the same studio where I did my Maitreya red dress.  I found some sort of cubicle filled with balls and took pictures in that instead.  They have some pretty interesting poses.  This unit i photographed myself in must have been devoid of gravity because my hair stayed pretty much the same.  Pretty amazing!

Oh, it's just sort of falling down.  This is Truth's new mesh hair "Barbara", it comes with a flexy add on if you want to have that flowy look added to it.  It's pretty nice.  I gave up on Truth a while ago, well I owned most of their stuff and the new things coming out were pretty much looking the same and I was also looking for some funky styles (found a place called Burley for that, great cool haircuts!)

I'm not a zombie, I just have my hands on some balls yanno?

I love this top I picked up at The Dressing Room, by House of Fox.  If I were to look at any blog right now it would most likely be in it's original shape.  Long and more like a dress.  Now I know the designer worked really hard giving it lots of detail because I had to completely move every prim to fix it (I like to walk around in my clothes and don't like it when my hips and ass stick out - these people must think we are sticks, the alpha layer didn't work at all it was way way too skinny).  I made it much shorter than it's advertised at, but you know, it looks good.  I suppose if I was just posing I could wear it the way it was made, but I'm way too jumpy and squirmy.

Loving the new skin!  The Lien line from Atomic.  I had to add some bronze lipstick to it though because everything I have gotten from them has been pretty much red lips.  and LOOK AT THOSE CLAWS! They are even blinged out!

So I guess for now it's taking pictures outside of all my favorite stores or in studios.  I have a pretty nice beach house and a cool skybox too and lots of furniture.  Maybe I'll start setting up scenes if I get uber ambitious.

Post #3 That Awesome Maitreya Dress

Atomic skin is awesome.  It's very sharp and vivid.  I had the demos for a long time and couldn't bring myself to buy one because they are quite expensive.  I suppose if I hadn't spent 8 million dollars at Dutch Touch in the last couple of years I'd be more apt to blow a bundle on really good skins.  But I never seem to wear my DT anymore, so I have become very weary about buying fatpacks worth thousands.  Of course Atomic started showing up at the Dressing Room events and I went squeee!!! and now buy every one that shows up.  SO happpy!

Love the mesh dress from Maitreya.  It makes CUUUURVES on my body, pretty close to my own.  Love...love...LOVE the way the 'fabric' wrinkles (although in real life that would probably be annoying), but on SL it just looks a zillion times more realistic than the fricking flexi prim skirts I still see people wearing all over the place.  A lot of times I go into a club and the first thing I see is grey flexis that haven't rezzed yet.  Stupid SL went and dumped my cache the other day, so now everywhere I go, it takes forever to load.  I gotta quit trying to make shadows happen.  No.  It's just not gonna happen for me.  They look all jaggedy and weird.  Where was I going with this????

Love the mesh hair from Wasabi Pills.  I haven't found another good mesh hair store yet.  I love this one because it is so cute!  And cute is what I aim for.  All the way baby.  Call this picture Le Suprisito.

 Even though I'm a girl, I can't stop staring at my ass in this dress.  It's just so SHAPELY!

I don't use Viewer 2, I used the mesh version of Phoenix, so unfortunately I cannot wear two alpha layers at once.  So I gotta wear some old style boots from J's (which actually look pretty good) with the dress.  In certain texture background I can see the fricking bulky hidey invisiprim layers that have driven me crazy since the beginning of my life on SL.

Post #2 Visiting Drowsy

I went to the Drowsy sim to look for a store (BP*) and all I really found was some sort of boat.  Didn't find what I was looking for but did find a cute swing set and pretty scenery to take some cute pictures in!

Still wearing those awesome green d.select green nylons.  I picked up the cutest red shoes at Collabor88 a couple of days ago, and I don't know if those colors really do go together but in my world they do!  I loved sitting on the swing, since I haven't been on one for years.  I didn't actually move of course, but you get the gist of the 'fantasy'. 

I TOTALLY FELL ON MY HEAD AFTER THIS JUMP AND HAD TO BE KEPT UP FOR 12 HOURS!!!  Totally worth the concussion though.  That boat place is behind me.  Took me like five minutes to get back up the stairs in that darn boat, I kept getting knocked back down, lol.  Actually I'm not even SURE it was a boat.  Some people are just to creative to have their inventions labeled I guess.

I left drowsy to find a backpack i again checked out on this really cute girl at a dance club... I love those little snuggly short girls that look all dolly like.  Yeah so this place was called JPK Village, some sort of steampunk place.  Didn't find the thing I was looking for.  But LOTS OF BIRDS!!  Love this purse I got from a gatcha fair.  It's Tee*fy, which is one of my fave stores.  Goes great with the nylons no?

 Love the skirt too, the criss crosses on the side make me feel a bit slutty, something I don't usually do but the nylons underneath totally give me back my good girl cred.  I actually saw some chick wearing this skirt (in a much more sluttier fashion) at a sales event and totally clicked on her to find out where she got it muahaha!  I do that way too often.  But I sure have found a LOT of great stores that way!

I love this picture.  The bird tweeting at me... the green radioactive goo on the ground... makes no sense.  Reminds me of a quote from Hayley off American Dad "Evolution is like Ikea for animals".  I've always wanted to use that quote somewhere. 

I'm so happy my nails aren't all discombobulated from lag...
