Post #80 Entertain!

I kinda look like a busted up dancer.  Was visiting Tableau, one of my fave places for pix, and i stumbled into a tent with a stage and the words "entertain" in white over the floor.  I couldn't find the spot or ball to click to literally entertain myself, so I just stood around all stage frightey.

I like the store Crazy.  I bought these boots there for 200L, now they aren't mesh but when it comes to shoes, that never really bothers me.  Hair makes a big diff, so do tops and everything else really.  Shoes, nails, jewellery.. I can't tell if it's mesh or prim.  Love the boots though.  Finally found something to go with my black leather Leverocci shorts.

Post #75 Beach Shorts

Al Vulo! has a new group skin out for September, if you haven't gotten it yet you have 10 more days.  I really liked it except for the lips.  They were very ... plumpy.  I covered them with some lipstick and the skin all of a sudden got 10x nicer, lol.

These Ingenue Shorts from Collabor88 this month are to swoon over.  They fit so nice and I just love the ribbon on them.  They went great with the Auxiliary jewelry I picked up at faMESHed!

Post #67 What Excited Me This Week

K first off i just realized i had the title of this post as what EXITED me this week.  ack!  This is what happens when I blog at 3am.

Half off sale at Cold Logic since last Wednesday.  I went there and didn't even buy anything.  But yesterday I got this note saying some of their best items had been recolored.  Well.  I went there again, and picked up a bunch of stuff!  I will do three posts covering what I bought.  I know the sale ends tomorrow (Wednesday) but still, wow.  Great prices even when they are normal really.

 Love these nails & rings from Candy Nail.  Wore them before.  They come with the bracelets.

Haven't been blogging much, because it's summer and all.  Soon fall will come and life will return to normal.  Still working the Skinnery skin from the whatchamacallit fair... (

Post #53 Homeless Depression

I got separated from my quaint beach house this week.  I get this message from some lady I don't know apologizing, but the owner of the island I rent off has decided to get the sim deleted and we will all lose our residences.  THIS IS WHY WE DON'T EVER PAY MORE THAN A WEEK AT A TIME IN RENT!  I have learned this lesson now (although I've seen it happen before, I'd been camping out at this spot for more than a year!  It was so unfair!).   So I have decided, in my SL, that my beach house was the unfortunate victim of beach hole sinking.  Luckily with the warning, I was able to retrieve all my items before they poofed.  So I guess what I'm trying to say is this picture conveys the sadness and depression of having to move to a tiny little skybox in the meantime.

 Most of what I'm wearing is Ronsem.  It's all been around for a while and no mesh items. The new and exciting item is the Al Vulo skin gift of the month.  It gives me a 'walk of shame' sort of vibe, lol.  Sort of smeared eyeliner thing happening there.  I thought the messy hair matched that look.  Kinda like you lost your purse and your brush the night before the morning after. 

 These are great nails from Candy Nail.  And although the skirt is prim, I still like it.  It has great detail and looks super cute.

As I prop myself up against the tree in shame I hope I can find another sweet beach place.  Until then I'm sticking to the 50L a week skybox with the changeable window picture mode and bad prim bed and furniture set.  At least it has a personal radio in the suite, and a 10 prim limit so I can have a pose stand at least.

Post #41 Maitreya & Truth Release

This week, first mesh Truth hair that looked good on me since mesh hairs have been released by Truth.  Yes that was a redundant sentence.  Speaking of redundant, I was going through my over 100 Truth prim hairs the other day and noticed sooo many of them look alike except for maybe a part was moved an inch over, or the hair flipped a different way.   I hope one day my love for Truth comes back because I just realize I've spent over 25K lindens in that store.  Oy 

Lovin this look sooo much.  Maitreya released some great stuff this last couple of days and I've been seeing the dresses all over the blogs so of course I have to blog about the top and the jeans.  I love Maitreya jeans the best out of any other brand.  They just make my behind look good.  So do their dresses mind you, but yeah, great jeans.  The top color was a tough choice, I loved them all and they make their fatpacks so damn tempting by giving you such a deal.  I finally chose this one to go with the fabulous purse, also a new release.  I had to throw in a close up of these Esnic nails by Candy Nail.  I use them a lot in my blogs posts but can never really get a good shot.  Well today that's going to change.  These nails are great!  Love the design and the rings.

Last week I won The Dressing Room "Style of the Week".  I was pretty stoked because it was the first contest I ever really entered and my outfit was so crazy I give them props for going with it!  I was given all the goodies from the newest edition, except the Glam Affair skin which makes me sad, almost as sad as how fat I seem to appear here.

Lots of sales, hunts & free gifts.  Starting with the new Al Vulo skin this month.  Very lovely.  I have to admit I'm wearing different lips with it, but it is stunning nonetheless.  There are little dots all over the skin which might look like 'demo' writing from far away, but still worth it!  It looks great with this new hair from !lamb.  The top is a free gift from Ingenue for the Mesh Around Hunt.  I was glad to find it as I spent a good hour trying to find a top to go with my bottoms.

These new pants from Glam Affair at FaMESHed are really nice, you get a great deal basically getting three different colors for the price of one (I know because I went to Glam Affair to check the original price).  They look too real.  Makes me think of the old days, way before prim cuffs how pants used to fly in the wind at the bottom and the inside was the color of your skin.  You could always deflect that by wearing uber blingy shoes.  My how things have changed.

Zaara is having their annual 50% off sale.  I know I hit it up last year because I rebought the bracelets again!  Oh well they were a decent price hehe.

Post # 37 Awesomesauce @ Ronsem

Ronsem has always been one of my favorite stores.  I really like the gritty style and quality of the clothing.  I pretty much own the store already and had not been back for a while.  A friend of mine was looking for a skirt last night and I wanted to show her the ones at Ronsem.  I was really excited to see a mesh section and promptly bought a new mini skirt and shirt.

The skirt doesn't have an alpha, which kinda weirded me out at first, because you can totally see up the skirt and your hoohaa shows.  So I put on undies (and took them off for this picture hehe)... I kind of understand it though, if there was an alpha, everytime you moved there would be invisibility as it's such a short piece and so tight to the skin.  I did have to adjust my hips a bit because they were sticking out, but overall I'm quite pleased, it moves along with my body and with my black undies kind of acting like "glitch pants", you can't see any skin.  The shirts are awesomesauce!  I want them all!  Ronsem is reasonably priced (180L for the skirt and 100L for the shirts).  This is why I own much of the store.

The hair.  OMG.  Me and my friend saw it on Neva's blog and were at Love Soul in no time.  I love this hair it's totally awesome.  I boxed up most of my old Love Soul hairs and I'm kinda thinking of bringing them back.  They are so cute.  I love these nails from Candy Nail too.  The bracelet on the left that looks spiky comes with them. :D

Post #32 Beads!

Love these new jean shorts/leggings from Fashionably Dead that I picked up at Collabor88 today.  I also picked up the boots there too, courtesy of the Sea Hole.  I mean to get boots for 88L is pretty good and I love both stores so it's such a treat. 

I forgot I bought these awesome mesh dreadlocks at Boon a couple of months ago.  I love the beads and little braids.  They matched the beaded necklaces I wore.  I got the long necklace at a TDR a few cycles ago, I went to Glow to see if they had them there, but they weren't up.  Hopefully they will add it, with more colors in the future.

I went to xxYOUME SOUJOUxx to get the landmark for the gatcha bag I had on.  That place is a serious trip!  I wish I could decorate my house the way this store is decorated.  It's so colorful and freaky.  Totally felt like I was mind altered.  A feast for my eyeballs and brain!

Been a blonde forever in SL.  I've recieved free gifts and good deals in brunettes, blacks, and reds, but I never felt "right" in them.  Until now.  Tried on a demo from Wasabi Pills and fell in LOVE with their 'Gingerbread' red!  Something about it felt so right.  Can't say what it was, maybe it just went well with the skin I was wearing at the time But I loved it...

Putting on the red made me feel a bit daring, so I put on some black.  Not my usual tans, pinks and whites.  It was really neat and I decided to take some pictures at Kosh (and picked up some new jewelry while I was at it).  I am another Mamboo Chic skin I picked up the other day at the 99L closing sale.

I also FINALLY bought the darn Lelutka Mischa shoes I've been wanting since last summer.  I bought the KIA pack at shoe fair 2011 and these ones came out after, I believe.  I've loved them from day one, but for some weird reason got freaked out to shell out the money for a pair (probably because I had just spent almsot 6k on the KIA fatpack right?).  After getting this color hair I was on a red rampage, and splurged and bought the damn shoes already!  (I also had my friend with me who helped me decide because she loved them too...)

Post #27 Mayfair Madness

I love the new tops that Mon Tissu have released.  They are just perfect and have caused me to seriously delete about 80% of my prim clothing.  Nothing can compare to well made mesh.  The detail is insane.  Seams, shadows, wrinkles... ack!  They are very talented designers.  I picked up two different color tops and have been wearing them for the last few days.  I decided nothing else I had (and wasn't already bored of) was going to do this top justice so I needed to buy some new items to go with it.  I went back to Mayfair and knew Celoe would come through.

The skirt was beautiful.  Fit perfectly, loved the pleats, detail and color.  I did have a Maitreya skirt but this one did put that one to shame.

The shoes finished the outfit, as well as the Miel jewelry.  I really love this outfit and don't want to take it off!

I found a cool spot IN Celoe to take these pictures too haha.  Why not?
