 I've been so busy with school in my first life I almost forgot about my Second Life.  I logged in last night and the first place I checked out was Al Vulo to see what the group gift was this month.  It's really pretty and I'm wearing it!

 Then I went to The Dressing Room and what a suprise!  It's a big building now with three separate sections.  I didn't really find anything I liked but I did like this top which came with some black mesh jeans.  This is one of my older outfits I used to wear (but the top is new) so the skirt is prim not mesh and the hair isn't mesh either.  I used to love Action hair, I defo need to go check out their mesh styles.

I was feeling pretty mellow.  I should have actually named this blog 'pretty damn ordinary' because I have no sense of high fashion in second life.  Well, I suppose I could but when i go places I don't feel like I'm doing anything high fashiony, so why bother.  I don't roleplay or talk to people haha.  I just go from sale to sale and check out new or favorite stores in between.  So I dress pretty casual.

I knew Fab Pony was closing and they had a nice pair of jeans they had given out a long time ago, so I went there and picked up a darker pair for 30L.  Everything in the store is 30L.  There is no mesh and it's all kinda outdated, but the jeans were cool.  I kinda don't like prims anymore, but there aren't enough mesh jeans around (that I know of) so I still wear them, but you can so see where the prim and the system pants meet!

Top and boots from Ronsem.  I love that store.  I love that the boots have a leopard pattern as an option haha!  The shirt would be pretty plain but the pockets make it all worth it.  All the shirts in this series are super cute and the mesh fits pretty good.

Boring.

Been on a bit of a vacation, back now and time to show off some goodies from the Hair Fair.  Boy, I've been going to these for a while now.  This year's setup was fantastic.  Great theme, less lag, and with the exception of some really bad hair, lots of nice meshy hair for your enjoyment.  Can't wait to blog all the ones I got!

Ohhh lookit me, finally got a shot where I'm looking into the camera and not into the far off distance like some jaded barbie doll.  I love this LAQ skin and have been wearing it a lot, added some freckles and eyeshadow to it this time.  Blows my mind that skin makers still make skins with different makeup, with tattoo layers now available.  But, you know, it's nice to not have to search my inventory for long forgotten lipsticks I bought and lost somewhere amongst my folders.

Been waiting to find the perfect top for these awesome Boom pants.  Got them a while ago, like right when FaMESHed started, but most of the stuff I bought went too low and didn't fit properly with them... well look no further...

This most AWESOME cute l'il top I found at Ronsem totally blew my mind to peices (and I'm tired so that's probably a bit of an exaggeration).  It's so cute!  Love the frilly front, fit and everything.  The mesh fit so well I had no spots show up invisible from the alpha.  That's good top making!

Post #53 Homeless Depression

I got separated from my quaint beach house this week.  I get this message from some lady I don't know apologizing, but the owner of the island I rent off has decided to get the sim deleted and we will all lose our residences.  THIS IS WHY WE DON'T EVER PAY MORE THAN A WEEK AT A TIME IN RENT!  I have learned this lesson now (although I've seen it happen before, I'd been camping out at this spot for more than a year!  It was so unfair!).   So I have decided, in my SL, that my beach house was the unfortunate victim of beach hole sinking.  Luckily with the warning, I was able to retrieve all my items before they poofed.  So I guess what I'm trying to say is this picture conveys the sadness and depression of having to move to a tiny little skybox in the meantime.

 Most of what I'm wearing is Ronsem.  It's all been around for a while and no mesh items. The new and exciting item is the Al Vulo skin gift of the month.  It gives me a 'walk of shame' sort of vibe, lol.  Sort of smeared eyeliner thing happening there.  I thought the messy hair matched that look.  Kinda like you lost your purse and your brush the night before the morning after. 

 These are great nails from Candy Nail.  And although the skirt is prim, I still like it.  It has great detail and looks super cute.

As I prop myself up against the tree in shame I hope I can find another sweet beach place.  Until then I'm sticking to the 50L a week skybox with the changeable window picture mode and bad prim bed and furniture set.  At least it has a personal radio in the suite, and a 10 prim limit so I can have a pose stand at least.

Three new Lelutka hair releases today.  Boy was that store packed!  I just grabbed the demos and went home to try them on.  They all looked kinda not great on me, but this one, Aphrodite, just went with my new sweater from Chemistry.  Of course I'm wearing the Ronsem skirt again I can't seem to remove it from my body.  Until I find another mini skirt it will be a mainstay in my inventory!

I was feeling pretty mossy, and this spot at Noweeta Grassland, that I like to frequent often but don't like the music, seemed the perfect spot to take some spontaneous photos.  Loved the jeep.  Some guy was saying "hi" to me and I was too busy trying to get my eyes to look straight so I apologize to nice guy for ignoring you!

Post # 37 Awesomesauce @ Ronsem

Ronsem has always been one of my favorite stores.  I really like the gritty style and quality of the clothing.  I pretty much own the store already and had not been back for a while.  A friend of mine was looking for a skirt last night and I wanted to show her the ones at Ronsem.  I was really excited to see a mesh section and promptly bought a new mini skirt and shirt.

The skirt doesn't have an alpha, which kinda weirded me out at first, because you can totally see up the skirt and your hoohaa shows.  So I put on undies (and took them off for this picture hehe)... I kind of understand it though, if there was an alpha, everytime you moved there would be invisibility as it's such a short piece and so tight to the skin.  I did have to adjust my hips a bit because they were sticking out, but overall I'm quite pleased, it moves along with my body and with my black undies kind of acting like "glitch pants", you can't see any skin.  The shirts are awesomesauce!  I want them all!  Ronsem is reasonably priced (180L for the skirt and 100L for the shirts).  This is why I own much of the store.

The hair.  OMG.  Me and my friend saw it on Neva's blog and were at Love Soul in no time.  I love this hair it's totally awesome.  I boxed up most of my old Love Soul hairs and I'm kinda thinking of bringing them back.  They are so cute.  I love these nails from Candy Nail too.  The bracelet on the left that looks spiky comes with them. :D

I found this absolutely lovely mesh skirt at Collabor88.  I really sent some linden love to the designers this month.  And I'm not even half done buying what I want.  I'm so thankful for great quality events such as this.  The prices are so low and the items blow me away.  And I love the themes.  Have you ever checked out the theme boards for the events they choose?  They are so pretty!  Collabor88 Main Website

I recieved this free skin from Mojo, and at first I didn't really like it.  I usually wear super light hair and the dark tan & eyebrows look strange.  So I threw on a darker shade of hair and it was a great improvement!  Now I will make use of the darker shades in blonde that I get in fatpacks and ignore.  I kinda felt a bit 'sexah' in this skin so put on a sweet black top from Ronsem to look the part... of a tart!  haha.

The skirt from The Seahole (of course) mellowed out the tarty look.  I ran to G. Field and got their new boots in black (if you like these boots I suggest you buy the fatpack, so you don't end up like me just going to the store everytime you need a new color and end up spending 2x the price by buying them one at a time, because trust me these boots are major versatile!  You need these boots!).

I took pictures today in my house.  I thought the skirt matched my decor! Hehehe.

Post #21 Remembering the 90's

I "came of age" in the 90's and totally used to dress like this.  I was just out the other day and saw some girls coming out of a club dressed in really tight jeans and flimsy tops, high heeled boots and just really feminine looks.  Man, I dressed like a boy back in my time.  Everything was all "grunge" and "alternative".  I don't think I've ever used hairspray.  I did use lipgloss...

Wore lots of beaded necklaces, and wore my hair plain and stringy.  Minimal makeup and torn up shirts and jeans.  Guys jeans. 

Torn up tights were a staple, along with Doc Martens.  I wanted to be a bass player, LoL.

I used to hang out at a record shop downtown, where they sold vinyl and bongs.  I had a whole collection of albums and a shitty record player.  I lost all my records when my brother helped me move and forgot to give me back the chest I kept them in.  Last thing I heard his ex-girlfriend's dad had them.. dayum!
