The stores I shop at now are very different than the ones I shopped at a year ago.  And the year before that.
I found this old Emery jacket in my inventory (well this was a full outfit), and I thought omg, I remember when I first started getting into prims, I spent thousands on clothes.  Now I am a mesh junkie and really, prims are not bad.  I mean sometimes they were annoying and stuck into your body in strange places and mesh has it's own issues if it doesn't fit right.

I remember when I picked up the Ganesh dress.  It was in my fave color and I thought it was cool.  It still is. I like Nylon Outfitters, they have funky clothes there.  I see they do have a mesh dress.  I love their jewelery.

COCO was another store that had awesome primmy clothes.  I love these riding boots.  They have another pair of thigh high flat boots I really like.  I was thinking of just deleting all my prim clothes but I don't think I will.  Some I will.  But some outfits are too awesome to discard just because of a new bandwagon.  This is a mesh free zone right here!  LoL.

 I think Lamb has the best pink shades for hair.  I indulged in the color pack with all the pastels in it.  These are from the hair fair.  Just love them, beautiful!

 This sweater I picked up from Toki Doki is so gorgeous I kinda want to go back and get more, since it was a summer night sweater I thought I'd wear the bathings suit I got at Collabor88 this month from Boom and go to the beach.

I had a lot of fun posing on all the chairs and hammocks and whatnot.  I got the info from Gogo's blog she advertised the beach there, she has the good connections man!

Been on a bit of a vacation, back now and time to show off some goodies from the Hair Fair.  Boy, I've been going to these for a while now.  This year's setup was fantastic.  Great theme, less lag, and with the exception of some really bad hair, lots of nice meshy hair for your enjoyment.  Can't wait to blog all the ones I got!

Ohhh lookit me, finally got a shot where I'm looking into the camera and not into the far off distance like some jaded barbie doll.  I love this LAQ skin and have been wearing it a lot, added some freckles and eyeshadow to it this time.  Blows my mind that skin makers still make skins with different makeup, with tattoo layers now available.  But, you know, it's nice to not have to search my inventory for long forgotten lipsticks I bought and lost somewhere amongst my folders.

Been waiting to find the perfect top for these awesome Boom pants.  Got them a while ago, like right when FaMESHed started, but most of the stuff I bought went too low and didn't fit properly with them... well look no further...

This most AWESOME cute l'il top I found at Ronsem totally blew my mind to peices (and I'm tired so that's probably a bit of an exaggeration).  It's so cute!  Love the frilly front, fit and everything.  The mesh fit so well I had no spots show up invisible from the alpha.  That's good top making!

I bought the Clara corset from Celoe and I didn't get the pants.  I had a hard time deciding which ones to get because they didn't have black, which I would have preferred and I suppose if I had bought the white or black corset I would have had an easier time color matching, but I really wanted the blue one!  It's so realistic.  Again, Celoe is the bomb in my book.

The Chandelle boots come from the Stuff in Stock event  I bought them impulsively and didn't really appreciate them at first, but they are okay for the price.  When I did put them on, I immediately remembered the cute teal stockings and pink bodysuit i got at The Secret Store a while back and the colors seemed to really go well with each other.   Not your typical outfit but I kinda liked it once I put it together.  THE HAIR from Vive9 that is at Collabor88 is my favorite thing right now. It's spectacular!  I can't stop wearing it or gushing about it.  They did a fantastic job on the roots and how the hair falls just perfectly.

I added the feather head dress from the Susanna hairpack (that I really just bought for the headpiece, I never wear the hair), it can be found at Kik. 

Got all artsy with my photos too.  I kinda felt like a mermaid without a tail.  ;)

Post #32 Beads!

Love these new jean shorts/leggings from Fashionably Dead that I picked up at Collabor88 today.  I also picked up the boots there too, courtesy of the Sea Hole.  I mean to get boots for 88L is pretty good and I love both stores so it's such a treat. 

I forgot I bought these awesome mesh dreadlocks at Boon a couple of months ago.  I love the beads and little braids.  They matched the beaded necklaces I wore.  I got the long necklace at a TDR a few cycles ago, I went to Glow to see if they had them there, but they weren't up.  Hopefully they will add it, with more colors in the future.

I went to xxYOUME SOUJOUxx to get the landmark for the gatcha bag I had on.  That place is a serious trip!  I wish I could decorate my house the way this store is decorated.  It's so colorful and freaky.  Totally felt like I was mind altered.  A feast for my eyeballs and brain!

Post #29 The Bird is the Word

Checked out the new faMESHed event and there were some pretty nice things there.  Of course I made a beeline to the Celoe/Mon Tissu & Wasabi Pill booths.  I bought the pants first and thought, okay I have so many of these MonTissu shirts already I must have something else to go with them, but nothing looked as good as the shirt that came with the pants.  I headed out to a nice place where I might have a picnic because those pants just made me think of a sunny day filled with barbequed chicken.

I met that little bird on the fence.  She didn't move or anything so I decided she would become my friend, or perhaps teach me to fly.  I was thinking maybe she would think I was a bird too since we were both wearing orange... hehe.  Did I mention those pants are awesome!  I love the way they fit.

She just stared at me and i stared off into space, growing impatient.

Finally I started flapping my arms hoping she'd talk to me, she didn't.  She was a plastic bird.  I was depressed for the rest of the day and pigged out on what was left of my burned chicken.

Post #11 Color Manifesto!

I kinda wish I remembered what I did here because I can't duplicate it again.  I mean the whole black background.  You know I could take my pictures and photoshop them and stuff.  But all I know really is the 'filter' effects part and everything is way too extreme, like who wants to see me all penciled up, or I could write stuff in cool fonts! OR, I could use the paintbrush tool and make all kinds of cool backgroundy stuff.  I don't know if that's just overdoing it or tasteful, or maybe I'm just too lazy.  Usually takes me a couple of Ambien to get that creative, and then by the time photoshop loads I'm sleeping on the couch.

This is mad photoshop skills.  There was a floor there.  I carefully magnetic lasso'd my body then didn't know what the heck to do with that, so I undid it, and then took the cloning tool and cloned blue background all around my lower legs and feet.  Then smeared the hell out of it all and voila!  A cheap pose on a blue background that was actually the background, and not something i could have actually made nicer by removing myself from the photo and giving the picture a cool backdrop, like a cool club... filled with cool people... amirite???!!!

Is this world void of color?  Why does everyone fucking look the same?  What kind of places do I hang out at?  Can't I just youtube that Enrique Iglesias song I heard on the radio back in 2010 and can't get out of my head, rather than go to a club hoping to 'maybe' but 'most likely' hear it there?  No one talks to me in clubs.  Probably because I have weird stuff written in my profile and i dress like a demented bird.  I do talk to people in stores and the other day a guy was standing in the water outside my house and started talking to me.  I wish people would wear more color, or I would find a place full of people who wore color and weren't just hanging out shopping.

I'm gonna do some old school photoshop background colorful awesomeness!
